After nearly 17 years, it was decided that I needed to have a go in the washing machine.

In 2007,  UrsineHenry resolves to... Lose ten teddy bears by March. Apply for a new fandom. Go to the conventions every month. Keep my flickgc clean. Cut down to ten cardboard_angels a day. Give some jamesbs to charity.

 New readers start here: I was instructed by the LJ abuse team to cease using the icon I've used for this post as my default, so I replied to them asking whether the picture I've reproduced on the left here was in order.

A tent. That's interesting. In the rain, too.
Spare rooms, I've done. Hotel rooms, certainly. Bits of floor in someone's living room or office, every now and then.
But a tent? A rare treat, this. Doesn't happen very often. Last time, it was a nasty, smelly, leaky, very old thing that weighed three quarters of a ton. This time, it's much better -- roomy, clean, dry, and according to Himself it only weighs about four pounds. Tent technology has moved on.
Lots of dark and interesting people about, but very little by way of outrageous drunkenness. Ah well. |
