I'm deeply and warmly grateful for your help in assisting me to adhere to LJ policies regarding default user icons.

My new default icon is located here: http://www.livejournal.com/userpic/46782668/717998

Please confirm that this is not in violation of your policies in this regard. I'm keen to ensure that my default user icon accurately reflects LJ's policies.

Thanks in advance

Ursinehenry.

Hmm. Was it [info]dougs who complained by any chance?

It wasn't me that complained, no. But I did assist in formulating the reply and in making the new icon.

A very good one. Mind if I borrow it for a temporary default?

Please do. In fact, feel free to borrow either.

I'd assumed the complaint was a joke, just to wind up LJ a bit more. Are you telling me that someone on Henry's flist complained? That seems weird. Either that, or someone with more time than sense is trawling all possible default icons.

I suspect it's the latter. Or, more probably, they're trawling comments from posts about the issue -- it's not hard to get a page with all public posts from any members of a particular community.

I do hope this is a joke?

Of all the stupid shortsighted useless waste of time crap beaurocracy I have come up against, this is one of the most petty!

Not a joke, no.

If Only.

I hope the OP doesn't mind me linking to his post.

That's perfectly in order.

Who has the time to complain about these things?! (Other than the same nazis that say we can't have art in school)
